Whether the tile goes on the floor, the wall, or the ceiling, Brian Dewar Custom Installations does it all.  The painting however, because of care and handling, only goes on the floor for basements.

Resale Renovation

The following renovation started as a fix up after a condo resale.  The original owner had a cave, that varied from dangerous (electrical) to embarrassing (sloppy joints, caulking applied with a spoon, stripped hardware etc.).  The Real estate agent was blown away by the attention to detail of the work performed by Brian Dewar Custom Installations.  The net result was an evaluation that in three short weeks increased the market value by tens of thousands of dollars.  More importantly, a dingy cave became a fun bright living space.  Improvements included:

• Crown moulding in the living room.
• New base board and quarter round through out the entire unit.
• The addition of a double french door, with a very clever shelf with cupboard doors horizontally mounted to create more precious space.
• The rough in for a new dish washer.
• Installation of sliding glass doors for the cloths closet, complete with a boot shelf.
• A custom shelving system in a closet.
• Replacing laminate flooring.
• Installing new light fixtures though out.
• Replacing the old medicine cabinet.
• Rewiring both phone and cable connections.
• Repairing drywall work and repainting throughout.
• A thorough clean up to a spotless condition.
• The mounting of custom valances to complement the new curtains.
• Finally, tasteful mounting of family pictures and configuring the home entertainment centre.

All in all a job that all concerned can be proud of.
