If you are looking for a true professional for your home repair jobs or installations, I highly recommend Brian Dewar.
I have been a client of Brian Dewar installations for about a year now and have contracted him for several things around my house including painting my two storey entranceway, installing a tile backsplash in my kitchen and rebuilding a retaining wall alongside my swimming pool. Brian also conducted a home maintenance inspection where he found several items requiring immediate attention such as improperly wired GFI device in my basement bathroom, some venting issues and a recommendation to install a humidifier and dehumidifier. I was agreeable to the humidifier/dehumidifier idea so Brian researched everything for me, including watching sale prices on the equipment. He installed the humidifier late Fall as the humidity levels started to fall in my house. Brian has also installed my home theatre system which included professional installation of surround sound speakers.
I found Brian to be a consummate professional in that his work is top quality, well researched with fine attention to detail. Brian takes the time to do things the right way to ensure you get the best quality for your money. He gives honest and realistic estimates. Unlike other contractors I've made the mistake of hiring, Brian shows up when he says he will show up and is very careful to clean up after himself and ensure nothing is damaged while he is working.
I intend to hire Brian for more work around my house including hardwood floors and wireless installation of a new television. I am completely comfortable allowing Brian access to my home since I know he will treat it with more care than his own. I've recommended him to many of my friends and relatives who have also found his work to be exceptional.

This is an assessment and personal recommendation for Brian Dewar.
I am delighted to be able to write something about Brian Dewar and his work. Over the years since we have known him our family has benefited a lot from his help and knowledge in all matters to do with house maintenance. First of all, Brian is a very practical, friendly person and hard working at that too. He has done so much for us in many respects that without him, we will most likely be at a loss with the maintenance of our house.
Brian is first of all, knowledgeable in electrical matters either in electronic entertainment, in home security and electrical matters in the house. Over the years he has done a number of electrical/electronic work for our house. On the other hand, he is also both knowledgeable and practical about other aspects of house maintenance. His own house is a shining example of his expertise and enthusiasm for the Ideal Home.
In all, I have no hesitation what-so-ever to recommend him to my friends for his services which I consider both professional and realistic in terms of his charges.
